Flight Simulators

According to http://www.rchelicopterfun.com/rc-flight-simulator.html, it would be useful to train pilot skills on flight simulator. There are two mentioned there:

RealFlight

Quite expansive ( > 200 EUR ), and it also includes Inter Link Elite Controller (by Futaba).

Phoenix

Not so expansive ( < 100 EUR ), and it has Custom Plug and Play USB interface, which probably allows to use any Controller with it. (Am I right? And it has E-Flite Blade MCPX model. )

From UDI U806, to...

Coaxial, 3CH, gyro, micro heli. At the beginning I was crashing it a lot. As the result, I had to buy Upper Blade Motor replacement at www.rc-fever.com (which is not really matching one in this heli. But I managed to put it in).

Then, I was reading http://www.rchelicopterfun.com, and come up with requirements to my next heli. So, it should be:

• Single Rotor - it is more wind resistant then Coaxial, and can be flown outside
• 4CH / Collective Pitch - more challenging but more fun
• Flybarless - lighter rotor, uses less energy, close to real helis
• Mini - that I can fly it at home

Heli matching this requirements is Blade mCP X/2. But probably there are newer models.

And the ultimate goal is to have: Mini, Scale, Flybarless, FPV (telemetry / goggles) heli.

Osprey

First time I saw Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey on this photo:



Then I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles, like:

There are also RC models of V-22. Small ones from china are basically helicopters with two coaxial rotors (something like Chinook models) which are always flying forward. 

Big scale models do also exist. One of them is produced by ROTORMAST. It is very expansive, and it also flies as real one - very fast in plane mode :) 

One day I'll do scale model of Osprey V-22 in 1:72 scale, to accompany my Mi-8, Mi-24 and Ka-29 models.
